1. What are some of the evidences you’ve observed of envy and strife within the church? How might you personally be tempted toward envy & strife?


2. What are some “things” we can tend to place our belonging – or our identity – in? (i.e. work, sports, politics, leaders, etc.) Why is this the case?


3. How might you intentionally remind yourself of the gospel so that you can be rooted in the rich soil of belonging to God instead of the “things” mentioned above? Take some time to help one another think through passages of Scripture, gospel-truths, songs, etc. that help us “preach the gospel to ourselves daily.”
