Meet Our Elders

Pastor Andy came to us in September 2018 after serving as Associate Pastor overseeing youth and children’s ministries at a church in Tucson, AZ. Pastor Andy holds a B.A. and M.A. in Biblical Studies. As an elder in charge of teaching, Pastor Andy desires to see FBC’s body of believers grow through teaching, worship, and fellowship and effectively reach the city of Valparaiso and surrounding communities with the message of God’s love. He has been married to his wife Kristen since 2005, and the Lord has blessed them with two children, ages 10 and 7.

Tim Miller

Tim has served many roles at FBC over the years. Prior to becoming an elder in 2018, he was a deacon and headed up FBC’s board of trustees – experience which serves him well as overseer of the Facility Stewardship Ministry. He also helps lead FBC’s teen ministry. Tim placed his trust in Jesus Christ at a young age through the guidance of his mother, who always brought him to church. Growing up, and into adulthood, Tim always felt the Holy Spirit working on him and has seen the work of the Spirit in his life. Operating best behind the scenes, Tim most enjoys the work of keeping the building and grounds well-kept and attractive. He spent many hours on the construction of the church building we currently enjoy. Tim takes pleasure in being a good steward of the physical things God has blessed us with and does his best to make our building and grounds an extension of the beauty and thankfulness we have in Christ. Tim works as an electrical engineer. He and his wife, Donna, have been married since 1990 and have three adult children.
