Jonah Pt 4 - God's Patient Mercy

1. Share a time when God has “brought you back” / called you “again” to something that you resisted or wandered away from. Why is this encouraging?


2. Reading this passage and seeing Jonah’s actions and attitudes – are there any similar “Gaps” in your heart – i.e. I’m thankful for God’s mercy but I have a hard time showing mercy… how do we deal with this/help others deal with this?


3. Reading Acts 10:10-19 and 2 Tim. 2:20-21, what do we see about the people that God uses? How is this encouraging? How is this convicting?


4. What was encouraging to you about this passage and what it tells us about God?
