2. Read Ps. 51:16; I Sam. 15:22; Is. 1:10-20; Jer. 7:22-23; Hos. 6:6; Amos 5:21-24; Micah 6:6-8; Mat. 23:23; Heb. 10:4- How is true Christianity about the heart? How can we get that wrong sometimes?


3. What does this verse in Mat. 5, as well as passages like Ps. 24:3-5, say about “who gets to see God?” How does that translate to my life tomorrow?


4. What roles should the “subjective” feeling of a clean conscience, and “objective” truth of our standing before God play in us “seeing God?” How can we have both? (Jn. 9:31; Pr. 28:9; 15:8; Ps. 51:7-12; 24:3- 5)
